The current City Hall building was originally built as office space for the U.S. Forest Service - Targhee National Forest Main Office.  The Forest Service closed the office down and relocated to other local offices due to gov't. budget cuts.  This opened the way for the City of St. Anthony to purchase the building in 2002 under the direction of then Mayor, Willard D. "Bill" Beck.
The following entities have offices in the building:
   St. Anthony City Administration
   St. Anthony Police Dept.
   St. Anthony City Attorney
   St. Anthony Senior Citizens Center
  St. Anthony Chamber of Commerce
  St. Anthony Visitor's Center
  St. Anthony Medical Center
  St. Anthony Branch/Fremont Lib. Dist.
